Cocoa Otoko (ココア男。 Kokoa Otoko, Chocolate Men) is a Japanese rock group based in Japan since 2010. The band consists of the five actors Kenta Kamakari (lead vocals), (bass), Kousuke Yonehara (drums), Shogo Suzuki (guitar), and (keyboard and rap).
History
Formation
Alongside with acting, the members of Cocoa Otoko made their first television appearance as a band on the long-running show Ikemen Deru no Hōsoku: Koi ni Kurushimu Handsome na Endō Mame-tachi (イケメンデルの法則 〜恋に苦しむハンサムなエンドウ豆たち〜). They released their debut single, "Amai Wana Nigai Uso..." (甘い罠 苦い嘘、、、), on April 15, 2010.
The band's name was decided due to the members like of chocolates (ココア Cocoa) and all of them are men (男 Otoko).
