The Journal of Environmental Biology (ISSN 0254-8704, CODEN: JEBIDP) is a bimonthly peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Triveni Enterprises. It covers all aspects of environmental sciences, toxicology, and related fields. The editor-in-chief is R.C. Dalela, who also started the journal in 1980.
Publication
Print-issues are published six times a year (January, March, May, July, September, November) and almost immediately after that, the contents are also published online with free access.
Impact factor
Although the journal is included in the Journal Citation Reports, it did not receive a 2009 impact factor, because of a too-high rate of self citations. The journal's editor-in-chief claimed that this was not due to any encouragement by the journal.
