Joe Kutchera

Joe Kutchera (born 1970) is an American author, columnist and new media executive. His first book Latino Link: Building brands online with Hispanic communities and content, was published by Paramount Books in 2007. It explores how to culturally customize digital marketing initiatives for Latino markets with case studies from Best Buy, American Family Insurance, Monster, and H&R Block among others. He writes for MediaPost and has previously written for Fox News and iMedia, covering new trends in Hispanic marketing and adoption of interactive media. He works as the director of digital marketing at Acento, a Hispanic ad agency, based in Los Angeles.

While working at Grupo Editorial Expansion in Mexico City (acquired by Time Inc. in 2005), his team launched CNNExpansion, the leading Spanish-language business news site in North America.

Kutchera has been interviewed on Advertising Age, BBC Mundo, and CNN en Español. He often speaks at digital and Hispanic marketing conferences such as SXSW and ConFab

Kutchera grew up in Milwaukee, WI and has lived in Prague, New York, Mexico City, and Chicago. He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
