Ibrahim Juma (born 10 May 1992) is a Ugandan professional footballer who plays for Bunamwaya SC in the Ugandan Super League. He was named in the FIFA 2010 list of future stars to look out for and was named in the March 2010 edition of as the best player in Uganda. After two very successful seasons in the domestic league and impressive performances at international level he caught the eye of several scouts from across Europe. In September 2010 he traveled to England for Trials with Fulham F.C. and Nottingham Forest F.C. .
Personal life
Ibrahim grew up in Luzira, Kampala and attended attended St Mary's School in Kitende which has also produced Ugandan Players such as David Obua, Eric Obua, Emmanuel Okwi, Mike Mutyaba and Godfrey Walusimbi. As a Youth he played for Kampala Kids and went to the Gothia Cup in 2008 where his team competed against an FC Barcelona side that featured a young Bojan Krkić.
Club career
Bunamwaya SC
Ibrahim Juma was signed at the age of 16 after a bidding war between SC Villa, Express FC, and was finally won by in the summer of 2009. He quickly made his Ugandan Super League debut and impressed strait away by scoring 11 goals from midfield during the 2009-2010 season to leave him as third highest league goal scorer.
International career
Ibrahim Juma has consistently played above his age groups for Uganda's junior National Teams including the U17, U21 and U23 teams. Although he is a member of the full national team, he is also the U21 captain. On August 28 2010 he lead Uganda to victory in the 2010 CECAFA U-20 Championship tournament and was also voted player of the tournament . He made his full national team debut at the age of 17 in march 2010 against Burundi. Juma made a mark on the international scene with an excellent performance and a debut goal in a 3-2 win for Uganda .
