Established in 1963, Bagmari-Maniktala Government Sponsored Higher Secondary School is one of the reputed schools in north Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The school is also known as Bagmari-Manicktala Govt Sponsored High School or BMGS High School. The school is situated at 1, Bagmari Lane, Kolkata-700054. It is one of the creations of CIT (now KIT) whose full name is Calcutta Improvement Trust or Kolkata Improvement Trust. It is for this reason that the school is also known as CIT School.
