Gangadhar was an Indian actor in the Kannada film industry. He had acted in over 80 films such as Sharapanjara and many others.
Career
Gangadhar studied Diploma in Mechanical and HAL. In HAL, he staged plays like Samsare Nauke, HM Nayaka and Vijayotsava. He met G.V.Iyer and was selected for ‘Chowkada Deepa’ of Sharada Films in 1969. He shot to fame with Gejje Pooje directed by Puttanna Kanagal.. His other notable films were Sharapanjara, Nanna Tamma, Bhale Adrushtavo Adrushta, and Aliya Geleya. He won several awards including the Rajyotsva Award.
Death
Gangadhar died on December 27, 2003 after prolonged illness. He was 67 and is survived by his wife, a daughter, and a son.
